If you email me at tcnjk@hotmail.com I will give you instructions on how to get 100 free minutes with your Tracfone activation. I will also give you tips on how to set up and retrieve your voicemail without subtracting from your airtime units/minutes. Tracfone will not tell you how to do this.
I just got got out of a 2 year contract with Sprint cellular that was pretty reliable but expensive since I rarely used my cell as my primary talker. I have a VO/IP phone at home that is inexpensive but totally unreliable at times due to my ISP and the high volume of network congestion in my area as everybody seems to have broadband now. I needed to cut costs and this service just makes perfect sense. I only use what I pay for and I'm not locked into a $60 dollar a month cellular bill. I highly recommend this phone to anybody who needs a pay as you go phone plan or who has a landline phone as a primary and just needs a backup phone for the occasional errand or for safety while on the road. If you need any information about this phone or questions about the service please dont hesitate to contact me. I discovered that I have coverage on Cingulars Wireless Network in the Woodbridge NJ area and so far this phone has been great with at least 3 bars of antenna reception at home and crystal clear calls for the calls I have made since recieving service with Tracfone. Setting the phone up was a no brainer and took no more than 5 minutes on the web. The instructions said it could take 24 to 48 hours to register on the network but my phone began working imediately. If you are in need of a referral to recieve an extra 100 minutes of talk time you can e-mail me at rvegola@comcast.net and I will send you the e-mail link to redeem your extra minutes. ... Amazon.com Product Description Messaging and Internet Organizer Fun and Games Vital Statistics Features Reviews (4)
The 8200 sports a higher-resolution built-in camera. Picture quality is also improved. The old 8100's pictures often had streaks and distorted colors. The 8200's pictures look much better. The speakerphone is definitely a great addition for those of us who like to multi-task yet dislike headsets. The volume and clarity could be a little better, but given the compact size of this phone, it's not bad. Reception on the 8200 is great, thanks to its external antenna. Battery life is good, unless you save a lot of things in memory, which depletes battery faster the more stuff it holds. The phone is attractive and can be customized in many ways, not to mention it comes in three colors. To Sanyo, I suggest you use the iPod Mini color scheme, because not many people like big red! In summary, the 8200 delivers lots of improvements over the already-excellent 8100. If you have Sprint or plan to get Sprint, this is the phone. If you want video recording, check out the Toshiba phone for Sprint.
The camera on this phone is excellent, it has three resolution settings and even a digital zoom feature. I am an electrical contractor in Atlanta, Georgia. All of our electricains in the field have these phones, should one of them have a question they simply take a photo and either email it to me at our office or send it to my phone. We also use the camera feature for estimating. The "Ready Link"(Radio)feature, much like that of Nextel's "Direct Connect", is outstanding, however, unlike Nextel, you will be hard pressed to find yourself without signal. Sprint's coverage in Atlanta is excellent. I rarely drop a call. The Sanyo PM-8200 is by far the best cell phone/tool our company has ever provided for its employees and Sprint is a very customer service minded company. I would reccomend this phone and Sprint to anyone considering changing cell providers and/or upgrading equipment.
After using this phone for almost 2 months, I have to say that I am very pleased. This phone has all of the features you can ask for, and yet with rebates and other offers is very affordable. Both color screens are very clear, and they display easy to use menus and a camera that takes pretty good pictures, considering the phone is not a stand-alone digital camera. The phone has a solid feel, and talk time is more than adequate, too (compared to my last phone, which may not be saying much). The nicest addition is the speakerphone, although the speaker could use a little clarity. Oftentimes, at low volume you cannot hear it, and when you put it higher, the sound is distored and reverberates. Since you can read about the remaining features above, I will point out a couple of disappointments, other than speakerphone quality. The first is the lack of screensavers, ring tones, and games. I know that since this phone is advanced, most people will end up downloading these things, but for someone that has little interest in PCS Vision or such services, this is a setback. Next, I am not sure why Sanyo only included 9 speed dial numbers -- my Samsungs allowed over 100, and it is limiting to have just those that are dialed by one touch of the keypad. My third complaint is not necessarily with this phone, but with the fact that even as good as it is, it does not mask the sometimes poor service Sprint PCS provides. It is either crystal clear or not there at all, and despite being told that this phone would give me much better reception (and it does compared to my last phone) it is still not near where some of the other carriers are. In summary, for the cost, you won't find a better Sprint PCS phone out there which includes all of the features you would expect from an advanced phone. And, when Sprint gets the service to where it should be, this will be a great phone to complement it.

Amazon.com Review Calling and Multimedia With this iteration of the N-Gage, Nokia decided to drop the FM radio and MP3 player functions from the device. We think these would have been nice to retain, but Nokia was intent on making the N-Gage QD more exclusively focused on gaming. Nokia has retained multiplayer gaming via Bluetooth, so you can still go head-to-head with up to four players via a wireless connection. Gaming Our test model came with Ashen, a three-dimensional first-person shooter set in a macabre, supernatural world. Creepy-crawly things were coming at us from all directions and we found ourselves pretty immersed in the game--quite amazing, given that the screen is a little smaller than a business card. Graphics were impressive, too, for such a small device that offers robust battery life (Nokia claims 10 hours of play time on a single charge). We had some reservations about the number of currently available games for the N-Gage. Many are forthcoming, however, and Nokia has obviously made a serious commitment to improving the platform. The N-Gage QD is a clear and positive sign of whats to come. --Joshua Gunn Pros What's in the Box: Features | |||

However, what I want to do today is to WARN YOU that AT&T WIRELESS SUCKS. Their customer service can provide wrong information and force you to pay more than you should. Here is my story. I had a AT&T wireless phone, but for personal reasons I wanted to cancel it. It was 2 months before the contract would expire, so I confirmed with the CSR that I would have to pay the $175 cancelation fee, which is actually reasonable and under contract. But, but, at this time he gave me wrong information. He suggested that I suspend the account for 2 months and cancel it afterwards. I was a little doubtful but, since this was the information directly from a CSR, I did as what he told me to do. Then, 2 months later, I called in again. This time a different CSR said that time of suspension does not count in the contract. This means I must wait for another 2 months, and pay, before I can cancel the account. Unfortunately I don't have the conversation record with the first CSR due to a system crash, so I have no strong evidence to support myself. It is all OK to me since I am not using the phone anyway, and it only costs < $100 for 2 months. However, I can't stand the fact that CSRs provide wrong information and mislead customers. AT&T has lost a customer forever, and I bet they will lose more once more people know about their bad customer service. AT&T WIRELESS SUCKS, DON'T BUY AT&T WIRELESS
I know there have been complaints on activating this bad boy, but I really didnt have much of a problem. If you get the phone through Amazon you are going to have to call ATT in order to activate your SIM card and be able to start making and receiving calls. I called 1-888-288-4202 and talked to a guy named Nikolai who got my stuff straight within 30 minutes. The only problem was that a day after I had called him it still read 'inactive SIM', but on a whim I powered it down and then back up and it worked. My advice to anyone getting this phone is to call that number and let them activate it, then wait like an hour and shut down your phone and then restart it...it should probably be rearin and ready to go by then. Again, great phone and great features!!
Sony claims that they worked hard to make the phone compatible with iSync on the Macintosh, unfortuantely it isn't fully compatible. Multi-day and all-day calendar events won't transfer over. When contacting Sony, they say they don't support the feature and I need to contact apple. Doesn't sound like they worked too hard after all.
It doesn't even make a good toy for the fishbowl, the plastic castle was much better.
